My oldest daughter, Cori, turned 19 last week. She has had lunches and dinners with friends and family - the last of which was last night with her closest besties. She asked if I would take some fun pictures of them before they headed out to dinner at El Guapo for her final birthday celebration - how could I say no?
These are just a sneak peak - nothing is edited, so no judging! Okay, so we started out in downtown Tulsa, just getting some basic shots of them all together....
Then I suggested they lose their shoes and get in the fountain -- which proved to be a good decision!
While their shoes were off and their feet were drying, they had the idea of getting some shots of them holding their shoes walking in the middle of the downtown street -- cause, ya know, that's something they do all the time! I loved these shots though....
Then we went up the street to a church I love to shoot at for another sweet group shot....
And then they start cracking up again! I guess it's a good sign they were enjoying their photo shoot!
The we finished our group shots with a super serious fierce girl shot. It was a trick to get them to all look serious and keep their eyes open (Madison)! :-)
I liked this shot, but really wanted to shoot from a low angle -- so I pulled a Gregg and got flat on the concrete to shoot up.... if only someone had gotten a picture of me doing this!
And then I finally go the shot that I wanted.... I can't wait to get this one into Photoshop and really make it a standout shot!
We took a few individual shots after that, so here are a couple of the birthday girl!
We had a great time doing this shoot and I think it really shows in the images we created! Now to talk my 14 year old into doing the same thing with her friends!!!! If you are looking for a senior picture photographer, or maybe to document a milestone birthday or event in life -- I'd love to talk to you about your photography needs!
